Meet Mortaza AR was originally conceived as a prototype within the context of the VR experience of Meet Mortaza (2020), an immersive work created by Joséphine Derobe, accompanied by an augmented reality setup. The goal was to enable viewers to immerse themselves in the story of Mortaza Jami, an Afghan refugee in France forced into exile.
